The main areas of KN involvement are gender equality, worker’s rights and economic justice.

Working with Trade Unions
Trade Union is the worker’s organization, where they can elect their representative for bargaining and negotiation as per ILO convention 87 and 98 and also to ensure decent work at the factory level. As a workers’ rights organization from the very beginning KN has taken different initiatives to increase the capacity of the leader and members of Trade Union/organizations. KN Sensitizes workers especially the women workers to Participate in TU and campaigning to increase women participation in every sphere of Trade Union including decision making body.
Relationship with Government
KN has a workable relationship to work with the government. The President, Executive Director and other Personnel of KN are invited to the various programmes of the ministries and its’ Departments like Ministry of Labour and Employment, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Migration (MoEWOM), Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishment, Department of Labour, Department of Women, Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET), Bangladesh Overseas Employment and Services Limited (BOESL), Wage Earners’ Welfare Board etc.
